■ Style
A silhouette that moves naturally from casual to formal.
Equally at ease walking through the city, traveling, or arriving at a restaurant.
Fold the heel down and it can also be worn as a mule.
A slip-on loafer that keeps a refined impression while drawing on natural materials.
■ Design
A curved tatami panel is set into the upper.
Its placement was adjusted again and again until tatami and leather dissolved into one another.
The result blends in so naturally that few would guess it is tatami at all.
■ Upper
Crafted from premium Himeji steer leather with rich depth and natural luster.
A fine grain surface with a supple, moist texture.
The upper is unlined where it touches the foot, allowing the softness of the leather to be felt directly.
Full-bodied leather gently wraps the whole foot.
■ Insole
Kyushu-grown igusa, prized for absorbing moisture, reducing odor and letting air pass through.
A dyed igusa insole, colored to match the upper, is fitted as standard.
An igusa dyer judges the fiber and moisture content of each strand, drawing out a color with real depth.
The soft give of tatami with every step.
Moisture and odor are held in check, keeping the shoes comfortable even when worn barefoot throughout the day.
■ Outsole
Finished with a Vibram EVA tank sole, both durable and light.
Comfortable over long distances, at approx. 230g per shoe in women's 23cm.
Light underfoot, yet with real presence in the silhouette.

Tatami, Himeji leather, and Japanese craftsmanship.
Shaped with meticulous attention to every detail.
