Where we ship from and when

We ship from our warehouse in Shizuoka, Japan, within 5 days of your order. You will receive a tracking number by email when it leaves us.

Shipping within Japan

¥10,000 and over: free
¥6,000–¥9,999: ¥900
¥1,430–¥5,999: ¥420
¥1,429 and under: ¥210

Hokkaido: ¥210 up to ¥1,429 / ¥420 for ¥1,430–¥6,000 / ¥4,000 from ¥6,001
Okinawa: ¥420 up to ¥6,000 / ¥5,000 from ¥6,001

Tatami Green Tea and Tatami Insoles have their own shipping rates. You will see them at checkout.

International shipping

Asia: $30
USA: $70
Europe, Oceania, Middle East, North & Central America: $50 (orders of $20 or less: $25)
South America and Africa: $70
All other countries: $70

Orders containing only small items such as Tatami Green Tea or Tatami Insoles use a small-packet rate of $12–$22.

Delivery times

Japan: 1–3 days
Asia: 5–10 days
North America and Europe: 7–14 days
South America, Africa and elsewhere: 10–21 days

These are estimates from dispatch. Customs and weather can shift them either way.

Carriers

DHL for the USA, EMS (Japan Post) elsewhere. Within Japan we use a courier or the postal service.

Duties and import taxes

International orders may attract customs duties and import taxes under the rules of the destination country. These are paid by the customer; we cannot cover or refund them. Amounts vary by country and order value, so please check with your local customs office beforehand.

If a parcel is returned to us because duties were refused, we refund the order minus outbound and return shipping and any handling fees.

Your address

An incorrect delivery address can mean the parcel never arrives or comes back to us. Please check it before ordering. We cannot change the address after dispatch.
