Shoe Size Guide

Before choosing your size

  • Leather shoes can feel a little snug at first, but the leather softens and moulds to the foot with wear.
  • There is a little room at the toe, known in Japanese as sutezun, which keeps walking comfortable.
  • Liberato shoes are cut with a little room at the toe and across the instep.

If you are ordering online

  • Take a pair of shoes you already wear comfortably.
  • Measure the insole length and the width at its widest point with a tape measure.
  • Compare those figures with the total length and width listed on the product page, and choose the closest size.
  • If you are unsure about sizing, please get in touch — we are happy to help.
  • If the size doesn't fit, one exchange per order is available (shipping costs are the customer's responsibility).
