Himeji steer leather, carefully tanned with plant-based tannins.
Gentle against the foot, with a natural character.
A certified eco-leather, produced with reduced harmful emissions.
The upper is unlined where it touches the foot, allowing the softness of the leather to be felt directly.
Full-bodied leather gently wraps the whole foot.

Kyushu-grown igusa, prized for absorbing moisture and reducing odor.
A removable tatami insole made from upcycled tatami offcuts.
A crisp feel underfoot keeps moisture and odor in check, comfortable even barefoot.
The insole can also be replaced with separately available tatami insoles.
Like replacing traditional tatami flooring, it can be renewed with fresh igusa, allowing the sandals to be enjoyed for years to come.

Finished with a Vibram #2810 sole offering excellent durability and grip.
Just enough volume to balance the elegant silhouette.
A 3.5cm heel gives a natural lift while keeping the shoe light.
Approx. 250g per shoe in men's 26cm.
