The crossed straps draw a vertical line that makes the foot look longer and cleaner.
They hold the instep securely, so the sandal stays on the foot as you walk.

Supple, lustrous Himeji steer leather of the finest grade.
So that the softness of the leather can be felt against the skin,
the part that touches the instep is unlined.
■ Insole
Igusa (tatami rush), prized for absorbing moisture and reducing odor.
Comfortable enough to wear barefoot all day.
Natural igusa is carefully dyed, and because each strand takes the color differently,
delicate variations in tone emerge, creating a natural gradation.
That depth, particular to natural materials, is one reason the sandals grow on you with every wear.

A light yet durable EVA sole brings the weight down to a remarkable 160g or so.
Flexible and shock-absorbing for comfortable walking,
with a 3cm heel that adds height and a contemporary line.
